Corporate Communiqué
Millenia Hope is not your traditional Biopharma. We began our existence with a potentially powerful product, a tremendous drive to help a greatly neglected area of the globe and a small group of highly motivated and dedicated individuals. Eight years later we have evolved but with our core values intact.
That small team of hardworking individuals has grown and now counts among its personnel, professional managers, world- renowned scientists and marketing and logistics experts. Our MMH™ Malarex/MMH™18 product line encompasses a more efficacious anti-malarial treatment and pipeline drugs designed for the pediatric market and for usage against complicated malaria. Our compounds to treat AIDS, scpecifically targeting HIV-1 RNase H (a novel target), places us at the forefront of the war against this modern day plague.
Previously, certain publications made unfavorable statements, unsubstantiated by the facts available even then, about Millenia and MMH™ Malarex/MMH™18. To them, and anyone who has no knowledge about our company except this scurrilous writing, we say check our track record!
We have had successful pre-clinical toxicity and efficacy tests, run by major universities in Europe and Canada. Our clinical trials run in endemic malaria areas have had excellent results, including a comparative study against a standard of care anti-malarial treatment.
The aforementioned is over and above the tests run by individual Ministries of Health in 18 African countries and l Caribbean that concluded that MMH™ Malarex/MMH™18 merited the right to be sold to their citizens, as a safe and curative anti-malarial agent.
It is quite true that we have not yet had any peer reviewed articles written about MMH™ Malarex/MMH™18 (soon to be rectified). But with the malaria plague gaining more strength ( there are 50% more incidences than 5 years ago) is it not a lot more important that we have saved the lives of the people suffering from this horrible disease.
We have recently hired expert consultants to guide our Health Canada and FDA approval applications. These approvals will both raise our North American profile and give us the added stamp of acceptance from the authorities in the Western Hemisphere.
We have made our first African sales this summer, more than $200,000 in Guinea (Conakry) and Mali, from contracts that could potentially reach 150,000 treatments, worth up to $1.1 million. With further large- scale projects coming to fruition and the expectation of other national orders, we could sell up to 350,000 treatments by the end of the next fiscal year, yielding $2.5million of revenue and gross profit of $1.4 million.
At a major AIDS conference held in Boston in 2005, our preliminary results describing the initial hits that we obtained screening for HIV 1 RNase H were presented. This created great interest in our program and has led to inquiries from several large pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
We are still a highly motivated group of people, working closely together to improve health in and bring hope to a continent and to a people who have had little of either commodity in their ongoing battle against this killer disease.
We believe that by doing good, for humanity in its time of need, we can do well, by helping our shareholders’ investments prosper. We are dedicated and relentless in the pursuit of our goal, as attested to by the tenacity we have shown as we enter our 9th year of existence.
